The great thing about making your own citronella soy candles out of pure soy wax is that they are safe to burn inside to kill and repel mosquitoes, flies and other insects. Just light up your citronella soy candle, rather than inhaling toxic fly sprays fumes with ingredients that even Google can’t explain.
The Citronella soy candle kit we have put together contains essential oils that are proven to kill and repel insects. Unlike traditional Citronella candles made of paraffin wax (a by-product of the petrol process). Just light up your Citronella soy candle rather than inhaling toxic fly sprays fumes.
Make sure to only use Citronella essential oil (not fragrance oils) for this candle otherwise it will smell like the real deal but it won’t work. You and your guests will become a mosquito buffet. Why? Because essential oils have properties that natural fragrance oils don’t.
Make your own Citronella candles using soy wax and essential oils.
Makes 4 large soy wax Citronella candles. We use two wicks in each soy candle as we are using concentrated essential oils. We also require the scent to cover a large outdoor area. As we are using extended burn wax, each candle should burn for over 60 hours.
Kit includes:
- 4 Large Yankee Jars with lid (350ml)
- Soy Wax - Extended burn 1.4kg
- 8 Cotton Wicks
- 150ml essential oil blend of Citronella, Lemongrass, Spearmint, Peppermint and Eucalyptus, all known for their insect repelling and killing properties.
