Superfine French Green Clay
French Green Clay is known for its detoxifying clarifying and exfoliating skin care benefits. These are attributed to its unique blend of minerals. Its composition includes magnesium, zinc, calcium dolomite, manganese, silica, copper and phosphorous.
French Green Clay's color is attributed to the sedimentation of Silico-aluminum (decomposed plant matter) and iron oxides contained within the rocks.
All clay's contain minerals that soothe the skin and absorb excess oils.
French Green Clay is best when mixed with hydrosols, aloe vera gel or filtered water. When preparing a mask or skincare preparations, use wooden spatulas and glass or ceramic bowls. As metallic implements will lessen the efficacy of the green clay due to ionic exchange disruption.
